John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") announces the following board appointment.
Jeremy Wilson will join Wood Group as a non-executive director on 1 August 2011 and will also join the Board's Nomination Committee.
Jeremy is Vice Chairman of JPMorgan's Global Energy Group providing strategic and corporate finance advice to a range of oil & gas operators worldwide.
Welcoming his appointment, Sir Ian Wood, Chairman, said "We are delighted to welcome Jeremy to the Board. His wide knowledge of the international oil & gas industry and of the financial markets will be of great value to the Group".
There are no other details which require to be disclosed under the Listing Rules LR 9.6.13 R. and Jeremy does not have any interest in the shares of Wood Group.
