Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("the Company") announces that Jutta af Rosenborg has been appointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 18 January 2013. Jutta af Rosenborg is currently a non-executive director of Zealand Pharma A/S, Auriga Industries A/S and Carnegie WorldWide Investment Fund.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13 R

The Company also announces that Mr Giles Weaver has, with effect from Thursday, 17 January 2013, resigned as a non-executive director of the Company.
