Confirmation of directorate change

As previously announced on 6 August 2014, SABMiller plc confirms that Mr Jan du Plessis has today joined the SABMiller board as an independent non-executive director and chairman designate and has become a member of the nomination committee.

Details of directorships required to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13(1) of the Listing Rules were included in the 6 August announcement.
