Redrow PLC27 April 2007 Redrow plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of BobBennett, 59, as an independent non-executive director effective from 1 May 2007. Bob served for fourteen years as Group Finance Director of Northern Rock plc,the specialised lending and savings bank, until his retirement from the Board on31 January 2007. Bob is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants inEngland and Wales and brings with him a wealth of experience and understandingof finance and the dynamics of the UK housing market. Bob will be appointedChairman of the Audit Committee from 1 July 2007. Commenting upon Bob's appointment, Jim Martin, Acting Chairman of Redrow said "Iam delighted to welcome Bob to the Board.
