Andes (AIM: AEN) announces that its Executive Chairman, Michael Stevens, yesterday resigned as Chairman and as a director of the Company. Neil Bleasdale has been elected as acting Chairman with immediate effect, pending recruitment of a new independent Chairman.
Neil Bleasdale said, "We express our gratitude to Michael Stevens for his contribution and leadership since the completion of the reverse acquisition last year. My board colleagues and I send Michael our best wishes for the future. In the meantime, we restate our commitment to implementing Andes' business plan, in particular the development of the oil and gas portfolio which Andes has assembled."
