Appointment of Jinya Chen as an Independent Non-executive Director

Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Jinya Chen has today joined the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director.

Jinya was born and educated in China, graduating in economics, and earning a Master's degree in law. After qualifying as a US attorney, Jinya spent 7 years at a Michigan law firm then12 years working in a series of legal and operational roles for General Motors and Delphi Corporation in China. Jinya joined Alcoa Inc. (a leading aluminium producer) in 2007, where he is now a corporate Vice President after several years as President of the company's Asia Pacific operations. He is also a board member of China Zhong Nan University.

Commenting on the appointment Neil Johnson, Chairman, said:

There are no details to be notified under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to Mr Chen's appointment.
