Appointment of new Non Executive Director

The Board of Go-Ahead is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Innes Ker to the Board as Non Executive Director with effect from 9th July 2010.

Katherine is currently a Non Executive Director of Taylor Wimpey plc, Tribal Group plc, St Modwen Properties plc and Deputy Chairman of Marine Farms ASA. Previous Non Executive Directorships included Taylor Woodrow plc, The Television Corporation plc, Fibernet plc, Williams Lea plc, The Ordnance Survey, Shed Media plc and Gyrus Group plc. Katherine has also spent a decade working in the City.

Commenting on the Board changes, Sir Patrick Brown, Chairman of the Board said: "I am delighted that Katherine has accepted our invitation to join the Board. She brings a wealth of experience of helping to grow successful and dynamic organisations and I am confident she will make a major contribution to the Board and the company".

The appointment is confirmed in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
