Directorate changes

Following his appointment as Chairman of Reed Elsevier and to enable him to concentrate on that role and his Chairmanship of Whitbread plc, Anthony Habgood has decided to step down from the Board at the forthcoming AGM on 6 May 2009. Anthony has been a member of the Board since the Company was listed in 1996.

In addition, after serving four years on the Board, Damon Buffini has informed the Directors of his intention to step down from the Board on 6 May 2009. SVG Capital remains a large investor in Permira's private equity funds and Damon will remain the principal relationship manager at Permira for SVG Capital.
