Michael Nott, age 57, has B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from Queen Mary College,University London and an M.Sc in Mineral Production Management from the RoyalSchool of Mines, Imperial College, University of London and is a CharteredEngineer. He is a Fellow of the Institution of materials, Mining & Metallurgy, aFellow of the Institute of Quarrying and a Fellow of the Minerals EngineeringSociety. Michael Nott brings 34 years of experience in mineral exploration andmining to Red Rock. He began his career as an exploration and mining geologist,moving into the management of aggregate quarrying operations and then to seniorroles in the aggregate and industrial mineral sector. He is currently chiefexecutive officer of Magyar Mining Plc and managing director of Alba MineralResources plc. Previous positions have included periods with: ARC Southern Ltd,as trading director; Hills Aggregates Ltd, as director and general manager; andRoan Consolidated Mines Ltd - Zambia, as exploration and senior mininggeologist.
