Directorate Changes

The Board of Countrywide plc is pleased to announce that Lisa Charles-Jones will be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 26 June 2019 and will be a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Lisa is a Non-Executive Director at Tracsis plc and holds Directorships at a registered charity The Percy Hedley Foundation, and at the Housing Association Bernicia Housing. Lisa was previously a Director of Keyfund Federation Limited, Reeds Rains Limited and Your-Move.co.uk Limited.

Lisa worked for LSL Property Services plc for thirteen years, until 2016, including for the last ten years as Group HR Director. Prior to then she held various HR management positions in the retail sector. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds an MBA from the University of Durham.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Long, Executive Chairman Countrywide plc said:

"I am delighted to welcome Lisa to the Board of Countrywide plc. Lisa brings valuable experience within the property sector and will be the Non-Executive Director Employee Engagement Lead within the Countrywide plc Board".

This appointment is subject to FCA approval.

The Board of Countrywide plc also announces that Jane Lighting will be retiring as Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company immediately after the Company's Board Meeting on 26 June 2019.
