Announcement by Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc

Mr Edward Creasy has been appointed as a non-executive director of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc, subject to regulatory approval. It is intended that Mr Creasy will succeed Mr William Samuel when he retires as Chairman before the next AGM.

Pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules, Mr Creasy is currently a director of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust plc and Charles Taylor plc. He was previously a director of Kiln plc.

There is no other information to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
