BAE SYSTEMS PLC26 February 2007 BAE Systems plc Directorate change Professor Sue Birley will retire from the BAE Systems Board immediately afterthe Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 9 May 2007. Professor Birleywill be retiring having served as a non-executive director for more than sixyears. Chairman Dick Olver said, "Sue Birley has been an extremely diligent andeffective member of the BAE Systems Board during a period in which the Companyhas been strategically and financially transformed. Her contribution, inparticular as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, has been greatly valued."
