Wetherspoon (JD) PLC06 March 2008 7 March, 2008 For immediate release JD WETHERSPOON PLC Board Appointments JD Wetherspoon plc ("JD Wetherspoon" or the "Company") is pleased to announcethe appointment of Paul Harbottle and Su Cacioppo as executive directors of theCompany with effect from 10 March 2008. Paul Harbottle, 39, joined JD Wetherspoon in 2003 as Head of Distribution andwas appointed to his current position of Company's Chief Operating Officer in2007. Prior to joining JD Wetherspoon Paul was Operations Director for GoldenWest Foods and has held management positions at M&W Mack Ltd, Excel Logisticsand National Freight Consortium. Su Cacioppo, 41, joined JD Wetherspoon in 1991 as a pub shift manager. She iscurrently the Company's Personnel and Legal Director having been appointedPersonnel Director in 1999 and assuming responsibility for Retail Services in2005 and Legal in 2006.
