The Board of Redrow plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Nicholas Hewson as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 December 2012.

Nick Hewson is a qualified Chartered Accountant and currently invests privately in a portfolio of real estate investments, developments and holdings in the UK. He has been involved in property businesses since 1984, both public and private, including Grantchester Holdings PLC, which was listed from 1996 until 2002. He is a Non-Executive Director of Croma Security Solutions PLC where he is also Chairman of the Audit Committee. Given Nick's relevant experience he will be appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Redrow plc has no further information to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules.
