Kier Group PLC31 October 2005 Kier Group plc Directorate Change The Board of Kier Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. DonGoulding as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 December2005. Don, aged 51, is the Managing Director of Diageo GB and a member of the SmirnoffGlobal Brand Executive Board. Since joining Diageo plc (formally Guinness) in1985, Don has held positions across the business, including General Manager in anumber of European countries, as well as responsibility for Diageo'snon-production operations in the UK. Peter Warry, Chairman, said: "I am very much looking forward to welcoming Don to the Board. We areanticipating that his considerable experience will add a valuable extradimension to Board debate."
