Directorate Change - Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
Made.com Group Plc (the "Company" or "MADE") today announces the appointment of Claire Valoti as an Independent Non-Executive Director. She will join the Company's Board of Directors with effect from 13 May 2022 and will become a member of the Audit and Risk and Remuneration Committees.
Claire has over two decades of experience in the technology industry and in leadership roles at high-profile digital and consumer technology businesses, including her current role as Vice President of EMEA, at Snap Inc. Over the last 6 years Claire has been instrumental in driving Snap Inc.'s international growth and leading its expansion in new and existing markets.
Prior to joining Snap Inc., Claire was the Director of Agency Partnerships at Facebook, helping clients understand how to reach customers using social media. She also held Director level roles at Weve, O2 Media and Telefonica, where she led the media businesses. Claire began her career at Mindshare, part of the WPP group, where she started the digital function to help brands use digital to reach their customers, consequently ending up being Head of Digital Display and Mobile.

Following Claire's appointment to the Remuneration Committee, Matthew Price will step down as a member and the Committee will comprise Gwyn Burr (Chair), Susanne Given and Claire Valoti.
Following Claire's appointment to the Audit and Risk Committee, George McCulloch will step down as a member and the Committee will comprise Matthew Price (Chair), Gwyn Burr and Claire Valoti. The Committee will therefore be compliant with the UK Corporate Governance Code as it will comprise three independent Non-Executive Directors.
