Appointment and Retirement of Directors

The Company is pleased to announce that Mrs Anne West has been appointed as a Director of the Company with effect from 14 May 2014. Anne retired in 2012 from Cazenove Capital Management where she had served as Chief Investment Officer.

The Company also announces that Mr Peter Gale retired as a Director of the Company at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held on 13 May 2014.

"Peter was appointed to the Board in 1991. He has therefore contributed, over 23 years, to the entire period of transformation that saw the Mercury Grosvenor Trust develop into the HgCapital Trust that we see today. Peter has brought to the Board his enormous experience of investment as an institutional investor, managing Limited Partnership interests in many private equity funds, managed by a wide variety of private equity firms, right across the spectrum. His insights into the private equity market, and the wider economy, have been of great value to us all. Peter remains a great friend of us all at the Trust and the Manager."
