Appointment of a director
The Board of Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group Plc the AIM listed technology developer targeting a number of global markets including automotive, aerospace, electronics and renewable energy, is pleased to announce the appointment as a non - executive director of Michael Anthony Bretherton with immediate effect.
From 2006 to 2014 Mr. Bretherton, who is 59, was an executive director of ORA Capital Partners Ltd. In August 2014 he became Executive Chairman of AIM listed Sarossa plc which invests in technology companies.
Mr Bretherton owns 3,173,824 shares in the Company, representing approximately 1.6 per cent of the shares in issue.
Save for the information disclosed below there is no other information to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in relation to Mr Bretherton's appointment as a Director of the Company other than as follows:

In addition, Mr Bretherton was a non-executive director of Brimley & Co. Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bridgend Group Plc, until the acquisition of Bridgend Group by HemScott Holdings Limited in August 2000 and at which time Mr Bretherton resigned. Following the acquisition and Mr Bretherton's resignation, the assets and business of Brimley were sold and that company was put into creditors' voluntary liquidation in October 2000 with a resulting net deficit to external creditors of £168,000.
