AIM and Media Release 20 February 2015 BASE RESOURCES LIMITED NEW BOARD APPOINTMENT Base Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: BSE) ("Base") is pleased to advise theappointment, effective immediately, of Keith Spence to the Board as anindependent non-executive director, bringing significant and diverse resourcesector, international and corporate development experience to the Company. Keith has over 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry with Shell andWoodside. He retired from Woodside in 2008 after 14 years in senior executiveroles including Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Executive. Keith currently chairs the Board of the National Offshore Petroleum Safety andEnvironmental Management Authority and the Industry Advisory Board of theAustralian Centre for Energy and Process Training. He is a member of the CurtinUniversity Council. He is Non-Executive Chairman of Geodynamics Limited as well as a Non-ExecutiveDirector of Oil Search Limited and Independence Group NL. The appointment of Keith comes as part of the ongoing evolution of the Board toensure the requisite capability to deliver on the significant opportunities infront of us.
