Resignation of Sir Gareth Roberts as a Non-Executive Director
Medical Solutions, the provider of pathology and cytology services and products to the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector, announces that Sir Gareth Roberts has today retired from his position as a Non-Executive Director on the grounds of ill health. Sir Gareth, who joined Medical Solutions in August 1999, played a fundamental role in the establishment of the Company and has contributed enormously to the direction and growth of the business whilst Chairman of the Board between 2000 and 2006.
The Company is, however, pleased to announce today that Mr Laurie Turnbull has confirmed that he will continue in his role as Executive Chairman and that Dr Nick Ash, who is currently Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, has accepted the position of Managing Director of the Company.
Laurie Turnbull said:
