HomeServe plc announces the forthcoming appointment of Johnathan Ford as Chief Financial Officer. He is expected to join HomeServe on 1 October 2012.

Johnathan is currently the Group Finance Director of NWF Group plc, an AIM listed specialist agricultural and distribution group. Prior to joining NWF in March 2009 he spent four years at HomeServe, firstly as Group Commercial Director and later as Finance Director of the Emergency Services Division. Before joining HomeServe he was Head of Corporate Finance at Kidde plc.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Harpin, Chief Executive, HomeServe plc, said:

'I am delighted that Johnathan is rejoining the business and I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to our future growth.'

There are no disclosures to be made under rule 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
