The board of Motive, the media investment company specialising in television rights owners, announces the appointment of Leonard Fertig as an executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
In addition, Leonard is appointed as CEO of Motive Digital, the Company's new division established to acquire technology companies specializing in the digital terrestrial television ("DTT") sector. Leonard brings a wealth of experience, specifically in the Media/Entertainment and Internet Technology sectors.
He is currently a non executive director of Metrodome Group plc, an AIM-listed audiovisual entertainment company, and Constellation Media Group Ltd, an internet based communications business. He also acts as a consultant to various media and internet companies through his consultancy, The Acorn Consulting Group Inc. Prior to this he was CEO of Futuremedia plc, a Nasdaq listed plc providing online learning, e-marketing and brand communications services to public and private sector organisations worldwide.
His earlier experiences have also been in the Television sector and during most of the 1990's he was CEO and co-founder of Central European Media Enterprises Ltd one of the largest and fastest growing media companies in post-communist Europe.
A further notable achievement in the 1970's, with American Airlines, Leonard created the industry's first frequent flier program, AAdvantage.

Leonard was Chairman of Media Content Plc when it was placed into liquidation in 2002 following the termination of talks relating to a possible reverse acquisition and fund raising.
There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules.
Commenting on the appointment, Mick Pilsworth, Chairman, said:

Len not only has extensive commercial media experience, but also brings us a wide range of contacts and relationships, and a pipeline of potential deals in the DTT technology space. As already announced, Motive Digital has signed heads of agreement with the first target company in the DTT technology sector, and we expect to announce this transaction shortly."
Len Fertig said:
