British Polythene Industries PLC23 March 2006 APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 23 March 2006 British Polythene Industries (bpi) announced today the appointment of LordLindsay as a non-executive director with affect from 20 March 2006. Lord Lindsay (50) has considerable experience of work within the private, publicand NGO sectors, particularly in the areas of environmental management andcorporate & institutional responsibilities. He is currently a non-executivedirector of the Scottish Agricultural College, Mining Scotland Ltd and chairmanof UKAS (UK Accreditation Service) and from 1998-2005 was a non-executivedirector of the property company UA Group plc. Lord Lindsay has held a number ofgovernment connected posts relating to the environment, agriculture andsustainable development.
