Changes to Non-Executive Directors

BBA Aviation ("BBA Aviation", "the Group"), a market-leading provider of global aviation support and aftermarket services, is pleased to announce the appointment of two non-executive directors.

Amee Chande will join the Board on 1 January 2018. Ms. Chande has significant international experience living and working in North America and Asia. After starting her career with McKinsey, Ms. Chande worked for large retailers including Tesco, Staples and Wal-Mart where she gained considerable brand development skills. Since 2015, Amee has worked for Alibaba and is currently managing director of global strategy and operations based in London. 

Emma Gilthorpe will also join the Board on 1 January 2018 and brings extensive aviation experience from her various roles at Heathrow Airport Holdings (formerly BAA), where she is currently executive director for expansion. She has a deep understanding of policy and regulation gained from almost twenty years' experience at Cable and Wireless and BT. Ms. Gilthorpe is currently a non-executive director at South East Water.

Ms. Chande and Ms. Gilthorpe will sit on the Audit and Risk, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

BBA Aviation also announces that Peter Ratcliffe will step down from the Board at our AGM on 11 May 2018, having joined in 2009.
