Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc appoints Non-Executive Director Johanna Waterous has been appointed, subject to Regulatory approval, as aNon-Executive Director of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc with effectfrom 20th May 2008. Johanna has had over 20 years experience with McKinsey & Company retiring in2007. Her roles included Co-leader, Global Marketing and Sales Practice from2005-2007 and Director and Leader of their Consumer Practice Unit and theEuropean Retail Practice from 1998-2005. She was made partner in 1991 havingjoined the firm as a consultant in 1985. She is currently a specialist advisor to Marks & Spencer plc and CandoverPartners and an Executive Investor with Tri-Artisan Partners, a privately ledmerchant bank. She has previous Board experience as Chairman of the HealingFoundation, the UK charity funding research into surgical and psychologicalsupport for people with severe disfigurement and functional loss. She holds a BSc, Chemistry and Mathematics, University of Western Ontario and anMBA from Harvard Business School.
