HaiKe Chemical Group Limited (the "Company"), the AIM quoted (AIM: HAIK) petrochemical, speciality chemical and biochemical business based in China, today announces that Mr. Derek Marsh has stepped down from his role as Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of the Company with effect from 14 February 2013.

Mr. Marsh has been an Independent Non-Executive Director since 14 February 2007 and the Board thanks him for his significant contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Company has begun the search for a successor. Upon the departure of Derek Marsh, Mr. James Yuann has been appointed as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
