Adrian Brown joins RSA Board
RSA Insurance plc (RSA) today announces the appointment of Adrian Brown to its Board as an Executive Director as of 5 July, 2011.
Adrian has been Chief Executive of the Group's UK business since September 2008 and currently sits on the Group Executive Committee, reporting to RSA Group Chief Executive, Andy Haste.
Having worked at RSA since 1989, he has held a number of senior management roles across the Group, including UK Chief Operating Officer and UK Director of Personal Lines.
Commenting on the appointment, RSA Chairman John Napier, said:
"Adrian has been with RSA for over 20 years and he brings with him extensive experience and understanding of the industry. I am delighted to welcome him to the Board."

Adrian's appointment is an additional position on the Board. There is no information required to be disclosed in respect of his appointment under Listing Rule 9.6.13R.

About Adrian Brown
Adrian was appointed Chief Executive of the UK in September 2008. Adrian is a qualified management accountant and has been with RSA since 1989. He was previously the UK Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Claims, Sales and Service, IT and Change across Personal and Commercial lines, and prior to that was UK Director of Personal lines and led the launch of MORE TH>N.
Adrian has also been the Customer Services Director for the Direct Division and Director of Customer Development (Marketing and Underwriting) for Personal Insurance.
