Directorate Change

The Board of Avast PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Belinda Richards as an independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 7 June 2018. From this effective date, Ms. Richards will also be appointed to the Audit & Risk and Nomination Committees. As part of an internal reorganization of workload, Warren Finegold is stepping down from the Audit & Risk Committee on 7 June 2018.

Ms. Richards is currently on the Boards of WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC, Phoenix Group Holdings PLC, The Monks Investment Trust PLC and Schroder Japan Growth Fund PLC. In addition, Ms. Richards previously served on the Boards of Grainger PLC, Friends Life Group PLC, Balfour Beatty PLC, and Aviva UK Life and Pensions (the major subsidiary of Aviva PLC).

In relation to this appointment, it is confirmed that there are no further details to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13(1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
