Herencia Resources plc
("Herencia" or "the Company")Board Change
The Company confirms today that Mr Chris James, a director of the Company and nominated board representative for Nyrstar International B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nyrstar NV, has resigned from the board of Herencia effective 11 December 2015.
Mr James recently ceased his employment with Nyrstar to take up a new role as CEO of Lynx Resources Ltd.
As Nyrstar no longer hold more than 10% of the issued capital of the Company, the provisions of the subscription agreement dated 16 April 2010 for Nyrstar to appoint a representative to the board of Herencia no longer apply.
Chairman of Herencia Resources, the Hon. John Moore, AO said, "I would like to acknowledge and thank Chris for his valuable contribution and commitment since joining the Herencia Board and wish him all the best for his future endeavours".
Managing Director, Graeme Sloan said, "The experience and enthusiasm Chris brought to the Board will be sorely missed and the Company thanks him as well as Nyrstar for their support over several years. Given current market conditions the Company will not look to replace Chris at this time."
