Directorate Changes

Synergy Health plc

("Synergy" or "the Company")

Synergy (SYR.L) a leading international provider of specialist outsourced services to healthcare providers and other customers concerned with health management, announces the following changes to its Board of Directors with effect from today's date.

Stephen Wilson, who has been Chairman of the Company since 2002, will retire as Chairman.

Robert Lerwill will become Chairman of the Company. Robert has been a Non Executive Director of the Company since 2005. Robert is also a Non Executive Director of both BAT plc and Transcom Worldwide SA .

Constance Baroudel is appointed as a non-executive director. Constance is currently the Group Director of Strategic Marketing for De La Rue plc, whom she has been with since 2006. Prior to joining De La Rue plc, Constance was a senior consultant with the Strategic Decision Group. Constance attended l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris where she majored In Corporate Finance and International Relations. Constance also has an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics

Marcello Smit, CEO Europe and Middle East, will step down from the Board but will remain with the Company in his current executive role and as a senior member of the Senior Executive Board.

Richard Steeves, Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Health said,

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Steve for his guidance and input developing the Board during a period of significant change from AIM to a full listing in 2008. Over this period the Group has grown over ten times and Steve's support and guidance has been invaluable. We would like to wish him well for the future.

Similarly, I would like to thank Marcello for all his efforts and input to the Board over the last five years, and I look forward to continuing to work with him as our European CEO on our Senior Executive Board.

I would like to congratulate Robert Lerwill on his appointment as Chairman of the Company and I look forward to working with Robert during what will be an exciting period for Synergy.

Finally, I would like to welcome Constance Baroudel to the Board. Constance will bring a fresh outside perspective together with her experience of international growth, and I look forward to working with her."

Following these changes, Robert Lerwill will replace Stephen Wilson as Chairman of the Nominations Committee. Constance Baroudel will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

No further information in relation to Constance Baroudel is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13
