Young & Co's Brewery PLC18 January 2007 18 January 2007 Board change The Board of Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. announces that James Young, aged 55,currently Deputy Chairman and Director of Production and Distribution, will beretiring from the Company on 31 March 2007. A new Deputy Chairman will beappointed in due course. Chris Sandland, Young's Chairman, said: "James has worked at Young's for over 30 years, been on the Board since 1984 andDeputy Chairman since 1989. He has played a key role in the many awards Young'shas received over the years for the quality and originality of its beers and,more recently, has been involved in the smooth transfer of Young's brewingactivities from Wandsworth to our Wells & Young's joint venture with CharlesWells in Bedford. The completion of this at the end of last year has led Jamesto decide that now is a good time for him to retire from the business.
