Paddy Power plc (the "Company") announces today that Jane Lighting, non-executive director, has decided to retire from the Board with effect from 20 August, having served a four year term.

Commenting, Nigel Northridge, Chairman, said: "During Jane's four years on the Board, the Company has grown very significantly, for example more than doubling its revenues from €275m in 2008 to €654m in 2012. We thank Jane for her contribution to the development of the Company and wish her every success for the future."
