Paddy Power plc announces that Fintan Drury, Non-executive Director and formerly Chairman of Paddy Power plc from May 2003 to December 2008, has retired from the Board with effect from 14 December 2011 after over nine years' service. 

Nigel Northridge, Chairman, said:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Fintan for his significant contribution to the development and success of Paddy Power plc and for his sound guidance and support to the Company over many years. We wish him well for all of his future endeavours."
