GKN plc - Group Finance Director GKN plc announces that William (Bill) Seeger, Group Finance Director, intendsto step down from the Board on 25 February 2014 following the announcement ofthe annual results for 2013 and to retire from the GKN Group on 31 August 2014.Bill Seeger joined GKN in 2003 and held senior finance positions within GKNAerospace before being appointed Group Finance Director in September 2007. GKN also announces the appointment of Adam Walker to succeed Bill Seeger asGroup Finance Director on 26 February 2014. He will join the GKN Board on 1January 2014 as Group Finance Director Designate. Adam is currently GroupFinance Director of Informa plc, a position he has held since March 2008. GKN Chairman, Mike Turner, said "Bill has made a significant contributionduring his time with GKN and particularly during the last six years as GroupFinance Director. He wasappointed Group Finance Director in September 2007. Prior to joining GKN, heheld a number of senior finance positions at TRW Inc spanning over 20 years,latterly as Vice-President Financial Planning and Analysis. Adam Walker joined Informa plc in March 2008 as Group Finance Director. Informaplc, a FTSE 250 quoted company, is an international provider of specialistinformation and services for the academic and scientific, professional andcommercial business communities. Prior to joining Informa, he worked forNational Express Group plc, from 2001 as Head of Corporate Development and from2003 as Finance Director. His early career was in corporate finance includingwith Touche Ross, NatWest Markets and Arthur Andersen.
