Polaron PLC26 April 2006 26th April 2006 Polaron plc Directorate change Polaron plc ("Polaron" or the "Company"), (LSE: POL) today announces thatfollowing the recent disposal of the Company's nanotechnology business, OxfordNanoscience Limited, Professor George Smith, FRS has resigned as Non-ExecutiveChairman of the Company with immediate effect. He will be replaced by WillDavid, a Non-Executive Director of Polaron. The Board has commenced the searchfor a further non-executive director and will make an announcement as and whenappropriate. Commenting on the Board changes, Chief Executive Joe Stelzer said: "I would like to thank Professor Smith for his contribution whilst Chairman ofPolaron and wish him every future success. I am pleased that Will has acceptedthe role as Chairman and look forward to working with him to grow our Controlsbusiness both organically and via acquisition".
