Inchcape plc ('Inchcape' or the 'Group'), the world's leading car retailer, today announces that Raymond Ch'ien will step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Group with effect from today's AGM.
Raymond has been a Non-Executive Director of Inchcape for 11 years and has been particularly valuable in bringing an entrepreneurial view and Asia focus to our Board discussions.
Raymond Ch'ien said:
"I have enjoyed my time on the Board at Inchcape but after 11 years of service with the Group I have decided that the time is right to step down."
Peter Johnson said:
"During the 11 years that Raymond has been with the Group he has brought a unique perspective and has helped us develop and execute on our strategy, not just with regard to our Asian operations but globally. We have valued Raymond's contribution to the Board over the many years and wish him every success in the future."
