Carillion PLC14 December 2007 14 December 2007 Carillion appoints new executive director Support services and construction company Carillion has appointed David Hurcombas an executive director with effect from 1 January 2008. David, 43, joined Carillion in March 2005 having previously held a number ofsenior positions in Balfour Beatty plc and prior to that Mansell plc where hewas a main board director. David will be responsible for Carillion's Buildingand Private Finance businesses. Commenting, Carillion Chief Executive John McDonough, said: "We are delighted toappoint David Hurcomb as an executive director. With extensive experience of ourkey market sectors he will make a valuable contribution to Carillion'sdevelopment and is a welcome addition to the Board."
