The Board of Third Point Offshore Investors Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Whittet as a non-executive Director of the Company to take effect from 27th April 2017.

Claire Whittet has extensive experience gained over the past 40 years in the finance sector. She has wide ranging Credit and Risk experience in both Commercial and Private Banking services and was latterly Co-Head and Managing Director of Rothschild Bank International Ltd where she is now a Non-Executive Director. Her background is very relevant to the needs of the Company and will replace, supplement and expand the range of skills which are already available to the Board. Mrs Whittet is a Non-Executive Director of 5 other listed funds.

Chris Fish, a director since the Company’s incorporation in 2007, has decided not to stand for re-election at the 2017 Annual General Meeting, scheduled to be held in June 2017. The Directors are very grateful to Chris for his wise counsel and significant contribution to the Board over the last ten years.

There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with the appointment.
