Maintel Holdings PLC20 December 2005 Maintel Holdings Plc Appointment and resignation of directors The board of Maintel Holdings Plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce theappointment of Nicholas Taylor as a non-executive director with effect from 1January 2006. Mr Taylor brings to the Company an extensive experience of working with growingcompanies, and of public company governance. A former management consultant, hejoined Luther Pendragon Limited, a communications consultancy, in 1995, where herose to become Managing Partner before leaving in 2000 to become Chief Executiveof WPP subsidiary Metro Broadcast Limited. He is currently Executive Director,Professional Services at the Royal Institute of British Architects and is anon-executive director of EU affairs consultancy, G Plus Limited. The directorships held by Mr Taylor (aged 39) now and over the five yearspreceding the date of appointment are as follows: Current:G Plus LimitedG Plus Europe LimitedRIBA Holdings LimitedRIBA Professional Services LimitedPlaistow Village Trust Limited Previous:Luther Pendragon LimitedMetro Broadcast Limited As at the date of this announcement, Mr Taylor has no beneficial interest in theordinary shares of the Company. Nicholas assumes the role hitherto filled by Dr Bill Madden, who retires as anon-executive director with effect from today.
