Appointment of Non-executive Director
Aggreko plc, the world leader in the provision of temporary power and temperature control solutions, announces the appointment of Russell King as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 2 February 2009.
Russell King is Chief Strategy Officer of Anglo American PLC, where he has worked since 2001. Previously, he spent over 20 years in senior roles at ICI, gaining world-wide experience in its fertiliser, petrochemical and paint businesses.
Commenting on the appointment, Philip Rogerson, Chairman, said: "We are delighted that Russell King has agreed to join the Board as a non-executive director. His strong international background in a variety of different sectors will enable him to make an important contribution to the Aggreko Board".
