Whitbread PLC18 January 2008 18th January 2008 WHITBREAD APPOINTS NEW NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Whitbread PLC has today announced the appointment of Wendy Becker as a NonExecutive Director. She will join the Board with immediate effect. Wendy Becker (42) is a Partner at McKinsey & Company where she is retiring after14 years serving leading consumer-related companies across Europe, the US andAsia. Most recently, she has led the UK Consumer Practice and has been a memberof the firm's UK Operating Committee. She began her career working for Procter& Gamble as a brand manager in Cincinnati and also worked at the BostonConsulting Group in San Francisco.
