Resignation of Non-Executive Director
The Company announces today that Nigel Northridge will step down from the Board at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting, which will be held on 25 March 2010.
Nigel Northridge said: "I've enjoyed being a member of the Board of Thomas Cook and I wish the Company every success in the future. I have decided to step down from the Board in order to pursue broader responsibilities within my portfolio of non-executive directorships."
Thomas Cook Group plc Chairman, Michael Beckett, said: "The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Nigel for his continuing contribution as an Independent Non-Executive Director. We understand his reasons and he leaves with our best wishes for the future."
