Sainsbury(J) PLC01 September 2005 1st September 2005 J Sainsbury plc confirmation of Board changes John McAdam, chief executive of ICI plc, has today joined the Board of JSainsbury plc as Senior Independent Director, as previously announced on 5 July2005. June de Moller, Non-Executive Director has today retired from the Board, asannounced on 10 June 2005. Notes June de Moller joined the Board on 23 September 1999 and has completed twothree-year terms as a non-executive director of J Sainsbury plc. The Board of J Sainsbury plc is chaired by Philip Hampton. Justin King, chiefexecutive, and Darren Shapland chief financial officer, are executive Directors.
