Telit Communications PLC22 August 2007 Telit Communications plc Directorate Appointment Rome - Italy, 22 August 2007 - Telit Communications plc, the global leader inmachine-to-machine (M2M) communications, is pleased to announce the appointmentof Amir Scharf as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committeeof Telit with effect from 22 August 2007. Mr. Scharf, aged 40, is a Partner and Head of Securities Law practice at Tadmor& Co., Attorneys at Law, in Tel Aviv. He is also a Director and Chairman of theaudit committee at Analyst I.M.S. Investment Management Services Ltd., a fullservice investment house traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Before joiningTadmor & Co. he was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of El Al IsraelAirlines Ltd., and before that he served as Deputy Director of the LegalDepartment of the Israeli Securities Authority. In 2004 - 2006 he served as amember of The "Goshen Committee", the public committee for setting an IsraeliCorporate Governance code. Mr. Scharf was also a director of Superstar HolidaysLimited in the UK between 2005 and 2006.
