Appointment of Ms. Imoni Akpofure as an Independent Non - Executive Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc
Lagos Nigeria - December 23, 2015: we write to notify you of the appointment of Ms Imoni Akpofure as an independent Non-Executive Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc to fill the vacancy created on the Board by the retirement of Mr Egbert Imomoh, our erstwhile Chairman.
Ms. Akpofure is a seasoned professional with over eighteen (18) years' work experience in the financial industry, having worked with International Finance Corporation from 1995 till 2013, where she rose through the ranks to become the Director, Western Europe, a position she held from 2009 till her retirement in 2013. She has also served on several other boards, both locally and internationally.
The approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria has been received for the said appointment.
