Director and Management Changes
PME African Infrastructure Opportunities plc, an investment company established to invest in sub-Saharan African infrastructure and infrastructure related industries, announces that, following the statement issued, yesterday, by the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers regarding Brian Myerson, Mr Myerson has resigned from the board of PME ("the Board") with immediate effect.
Further, the Board is pleased to have been notified that Richard Bouma has returned to active service as part of a broader restructuring of the Investment Manager. John Webley has already replaced Mr Myerson in the role of non executive chairman of PME Infrastructure Managers Limited supported by Richard Bouma as executive vice chairman. Brian Smith will retain the role of chief executive officer in charge of the day to day operations.
