Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or the Company") Director's Shareholdings

The Company has been informed today that 15,000 ordinary shares of the Company were purchased by the SIPP of Richard Latham, Chairman of the Company, at a price of 68.3p per share. This purchase brings Mr Latham's beneficial shareholding to 740,087 ordinary shares, representing 1.04 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
