Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or the Company") Director's Shareholdings

The Company has been informed that 15,000 ordinary shares of the Company were purchased today by the SIPP of Jerry White, a director of the Company, at a price of 67p per share. This purchase brings Mr White's beneficial shareholding to 138,275 ordinary shares, representing 0.19 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
