London, 14th August, 2014: Gulfsands Petroleum plc ("Gulfsands", the "Group" or the "Company" - AIM: GPX), the oil and gas production, exploration and development company with activities in Syria, Morocco, Tunisia, Colombia and the U.S.A. advises that in addition to the disclosures associated with the appointment of James Ede-Golightly as a non-executive director announced yesterday, James has an interest in 20,000 ordinary shares of Gulfsands (representing the aggregate of shares that he holds directly and shares held through a SIPP), representing 0.02% of the Company's issued share capital.
