Lonmin PLC09 August 2005 Director Shareholding In accordance with DR 3.1.2 R and DR 3.1.3 R, Mr Ian Farmer and Mr JohnRobinson, Directors of Lonmin Plc, have today notified the Company that on 5August 2005 and 9 August 2005 respectively, they have exercised share optionsgranted to them on 8 June 2000 under the rules of the Lonmin Executive ShareOption Scheme over 60,000 ordinary shares of $1 each in the capital of theCompany at an exercise price of 668.5p per share. Mr Farmer sold 36,350 on 5 August 2005 at a price of 1170.265p per share and afurther 18,624 shares today at a price of 1168.68p per share. He retained thebalance of 5,026 shares taking his total personal shareholding in the Company to12,681 shares. Mr Robinson sold 55,000 shares today at a price of 1177.1786p per share andretained the balance of 5,000 shares. Following this transaction, Mr Robinson'stotal personal shareholding in the Company is 25,472 shares.
